The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the latest look at their children in a holiday message shared on Meghan's Instagram page on Friday, Dec. 19. "Happy Holidays! From our family to yours," she captioned the snap, which showed the foursome outdoors on a small bridge over a creek. Meghan bends down and holds hands with her 4-year-old daughter, while 6-year-old Archie wraps Harry in a hug. It also highlights Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet's red hair, inherited from their father. ("The ginger gene is a strong one!" Harry joked in 2023.) PEOPLE understands that the image was taken at their family home in Montecito, California, this month. A previously released image of Meghan and Princess Lilibet also shows them on the small bridge, and Meghan also appeared in a similar-looking setting in a photo shared for her As ever brand. "On behalf of the Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year," the message read. Archie and Lilibet also appeared in the video, which featured new footage from when they volunteered alongside their parents at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA) ahead of Thanksgiving. The siblings can be seen helping prepare food and pushing a trolley of items with Meghan and Harry. While Prince Harry was in Aspen, Colorado, this week for a ski and snow polo getaway, the family is reportedly spending Christmas at home in California this year. Meghan shared more about her family's Christmas tradition than ever through her Netflix special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, which debuted earlier this month. In the episode, Meghan prepared Advent calendars for her kids, filling the pockets of the white and red calendars that were personalized with the children's names, "Archie" and "Lili." "I’m writing, 'I love you because you’re so kind,’ ‘I love you because you’re so brave,' " she said as she wrote special messages she penned in her signature calligraphy and filled the calendar pockets with the small notes and goodies. In addition, Meghan highlighted the British tradition of Christmas crackers and cooked Christmas Eve gumbo — a recipe from her mother, Doria Ragland. SOURCE : People
