Five reasons why Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will never become senior working royals

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the daughters of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, are two royals that have been considered by some, even though they are not working members of the Firm.

The sisters may be invited along to events such as the Coronation as members of the family, and are occasionally asked to undertake some less formal duties but they do not have full-time royal obligations and instead have their own jobs.
With Counsellors of State such as Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and Prince Edward available to act on the monarch’s behalf if he is incapacitated, it ultimately seems unlikely that the York sisters will ever become proper working royals.
Here Express.co.uk examines the five reasons why this will not happen, despite Beatrice and Eugenie’s popularity and experience in the public eye.
