Five reasons why Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will never become senior working royals

Prince Andrew drama
Unfortunately for Beatrice and Eugenie, as the daughters of Prince Andrew their names are associated with the scandal of him being forced to step down as a working royal.

The Duke of York’s ties with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of sexual assault made against him – which he has vehemently and repeatedly denied – led to him being stripped of his military titles and patronages and losing his status as a working member of the family.

In spite of all this Andrew, Beatrice and Eugenie retain their places in the line of succession, as do Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet who are estranged from the royals in California.

Their children
Aside from their jobs, Beatrice and Eugenie have young families of their own and caring for their children no doubt takes up much of their time.
Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, who married in October 2018, have two sons together – August, born February 2021 and Ernest, who arrived in May last year.
Beatrice tied the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in July 2020 and welcomed their daughter Sienna in September 2021, with the young age of the cousins making caring for them a full-time job in itself.
